2nd Sydney show added for Tommy Emmanuel

The Guitar Wizard of Oz, Tommy Emmanuel, will set the stage alight at Sydney’s iconic Enmore Theatre on Wednesday 8 August, promoters Rob Potts and Jeff Lewis announced today.

This second Sydney show was added to the Australasian “Live and Acoustic” tour after overwhelming demand saw tickets for Emmanuel’s Monday 6 August show at the Sydney Opera House all but sell out.

“Tommy converts more die-hard fans every time he tours, and we’re thrilled to add another show to allow more fans to have the musical night of their lives,” said Rob Potts.

“Tommy can’t wait to headline both of these legendary Sydney venues for the first time in his career”.

This tour will be the world-renowned guitar picker’s first solo acoustic tour of his homeland since 2009’s Center Stage Tour, which saw him play to packed houses around Australia to rave reviews. This is Tommy Emmanuel at his best – one man, one guitar, one unforgettable experience.

Special U.S. guest, Frank Vignola is widely regarded as a monster player and composer, and has played with everyone from Les Paul and Madonna through to Donald Fagen and the Boston Pops. This will be Frank's first visit to Australia.
